Which data the site, the OcraMars account and the Hyperion Highlights program handle, why, and for how long.
The data controller is OcraMars: its details are at the bottom of the page. Any request about data goes to those contacts.
The program works on your computer. Audio, video, transcripts, clips and settings stay there: OcraMars does not receive a copy, except what you choose to send with the diagnostics (see below).
To analyse a stream, the program downloads the audio, the chat and the information of the stream from Twitch, straight from your PC.
In the program you sign in with Twitch, with a single read permission (reading the markers of the stream).
The token stays on your PC, in the Windows Credential Manager. To check the licence the program sends it to OcraMars, which verifies it with Twitch and does not save it.
OcraMars keeps the number and the name of the channel, for the licence and for the free trial.
The account needs an email and a password. The password is handled by the sign-in system and OcraMars cannot read it. The display name and the photo are optional: your email is never shown.
The account can be deleted at any time from the account area: the data is erased and active subscriptions stop.
Payments go through Stripe. OcraMars neither sees nor keeps the card number.
To buy, the details for the invoice are needed: first and last name or company name, codice fiscale or VAT number, address. They are asked only before a purchase and used only to invoice.
Subscriptions, amounts, dates and the data of the invoices remain; by law invoices are kept for 10 years.
Whoever runs an organisation enters the Twitch channels of the creators and the emails of the staff. Invitations are sent by email from OcraMars. Whoever enters this data must have the consent of those concerned.
OcraMars only writes about things tied to the account: sign-in, invitations, offers made for you, payments. No newsletter without a separate consent.
The site uses no profiling cookies and no analytics tools.
It only keeps technical data: the language you chose and, after signing in, a cookie that remembers your name and photo across the OcraMars sites.
The server records accesses (IP address, page, time) for security.
The photos of the streamers are loaded from Twitch servers, which receive the IP address of whoever opens the page.
The program is downloaded and updated from GitHub, which sees the IP address of whoever downloads.
The diagnostics file is used to improve the program. It never leaves by itself: it is sent by whoever wants to help, with the Send data button or by hand.
When it is sent from the program, the file holds: the name of the channel, the titles of the streams, the hype spots with scores and choices (keep or discard), the words spoken in the clips, the system, the graphics card and the version of the program. It never holds video, audio or passwords. Before sending, the program shows what is in it and asks for confirmation.
OcraMars keeps the file with the date and the Twitch channel of whoever sends it, for as long as it helps improve the program. You can ask for it to be deleted.
The data is used to provide the requested service (account, licence, payments) and to meet legal obligations. It is not sold and not used for advertising.
Account data stays as long as the account exists. After deletion it is erased, except what the law requires to keep. Of the free trial, the channel and the start date remain, so that it does not repeat.
You can ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, limit its use, receive it in a readable format and object to its processing.
Just write to the contacts at the bottom of the page. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
